Cameron Dickey was appointed as a Commissioner with the Harris County Emergency Services District No. 9 (HCESD9) at the July 2025 HCESD9 meeting. He was officially sworn in as Commissioner on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.
Mr. Dickey is a well-regarded community leader in Cypress and an award-winning executive in the credit union industry. He has served as President/CEO of Cy-Fair Federal Credit Union since 2012. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Stewart Title and was one of Oregon’s youngest credit union CEOs at Providence Health System Federal Credit Union.
In 2025, Mr. Dickey concluded 9 years on the board of Reach Unlimited, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, serving three terms as Board Chair. He also served as Board President of the Harris County Water Control Improvement District (WCID) #157 until August 2025. The WCID manages drainage and recreational facilities for over 4,000 residents. Since 2003, Mr. Dickey has volunteered with the World Council of Credit Unions, mentoring credit union leaders globally.
Recognized as the 2023 Credit Union Professional of the Year and recipient of the 2021 World Council Distinguished Service Award, Cameron has helped Cy-Fair FCU earn multiple business and community honors. He holds a BS in Business Administration and is an alumnus of the Western CUNA Management School. He lives in Cypress, Texas, with his family.
